Evening primrose oil Softgel (EPO) is extracted from the seeds of the Evening Primrose plant(Oenthera biennis). It is a rich source of the omega-6 essential Fatty acids, Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). GLA is converted within cells to prostaglandins, which influence many critical body functions such as reproductive cycle, blood inflammation. It is shown to help regulate the hormone-like prostaglandins associated with premenstrual conditions.
